Steps Taken

1. Interviewed Norman Strange with 8 questions on Microsoft Word
2. Sketched and drew out 4 possible concepts for a designer profile of Norman, which would include the interview questions.
3. Took a photo of Norman using the school camera. Got him to pose. Took photo to photoshop where I edited it to make it black and white as well as texturizing it. (sorry, i lost the original photo)
4. Googled image of a newspaper. Took image to photoshop where I edited out the words and photo so that i could place interview questions and photo of norman within it.















5. I then assembled my cluttered table using these images taken from google. These images included a textured wood table, a time magazine, a post stamp, a mug of coffee, a pen, a piece of paper and some crackers.

6. With all these images layered together, they seemed unrealistic. So i added some effects to it. These effects included:

- drew on the image of the piece of paper using the 'pencil tool' in photo shop

- used the 'burn tool' in photo shop on the image of newspaper so that it gave the newspaper a shadow and old effect

-used a lighting effect on the whole thing. This came from 'render-lighting effects-2 o' clock spotlight

-created steam for the cup of coffee. I learn this off a photo shopping site.

7. After I was satisfied with these effects, I merged all these layers into one image and then brought it over to indesign where i could begin assembling the interview texts and headings onto the background. For some reason the canvas in photoshop had shrunk so I had to expand it in Indesign causing details to be a bit pixelated.

8. Edited interview questions.

9. Created a box on the empty area on the newspaper and placed the interview questions from microsoft into the box.

10. Added title of 'Norman Strange' and subheading of 'Interview' on the crackers and

newspaper using the 'text tool' in Indesign.

11. Edited the title and heading text

-Font for 'Interview': pt 18 black, drop shadow

12. Wrote out evaluations for my concepts and final design!!!
